PT109 Commemorative Swim Marathon

Currently, we are seeking corporate and individual sponsors to make the event a reality. We are looking for any sort of contribution. Sponsorship can be in the form of cash, shirts for participants, airfares for swimming officials and/or celebrities from Australia or the United States. Additional, trophies or plaques could be donated. 

We would like to invite you to be either a Gold Sponsor – with a donation of cash or goods valued at USD$500 or more; or a Silver Sponsor – with a donation of over USD$250.

All sponsors will receive public and international recognition through any publicity generated for the event- locally, on our sponsors’ board placed prominently in Gizo, and on this website which i will be up-dated regularly. The JFK PT109 Swim Marathon website was launched in mid- December after the release of National Geographic’s Explorer Series. The one hour special was based on Dr. Robert Ballard search and discovery of torpedo tubes from Kennedy’s boat- the PT 109.We anticipate that the JFK PT109 Swim Marathon will attract international media attention from television and newspaper reporters.
